State Conference

ETAQ's state conference will be held on Saturday 17 August at Lourdes Hill College, 86 Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne. We are excited to announce our keynote presenters will be Anna Funder and Mary Lou Rasmussen, ANU, Canberra.

Theme: Journeys of Joy and Justice.

The Call for presenters is now available.

We are interested in exploring the following topics:

• using technology, including Artificial Intelligence to enhance the English classroom experience
•  developing culturally responsive teaching practices in English;
• promoting literacy and critical thinking skills;
• incorporating creativity into the curriculum; and
• fostering a love of reading in a technological world
