March seminar 2024: Texts in Contexts

Our focus will be on teaching of English in a variety of different contexts, using a broad range of texts, or teaching students to respond in new ways. Workshops will offer ideas for units of work to fit the ACARA v9.0 curriculum; sharing teaching and learning approaches for engaging with First Nations authors and creators; or approaches that utilise critical and creative thinking and 21st Century skills.

This is a face-to-face seminar; however, the keynote and one workshop in each session will be live-streamed and one other workshop in each session will be recorded especially for our rural and regional members and those who are unable to attend in person.
