May seminar: Digital Landscapes

This half-day seminar event aims to further explore ETAQ’s overall theme for PD activities in 2024: Changing landscapes. The focus now is on the exciting (or perhaps daunting) realm of the digital domain. As technology, assessment and texts continue to evolve and expand, teachers have the opportunity to harness technology to engage and innovate in the classroom. Together we will explore the challenges and opportunities that come with embracing this new landscape.

ETAQ invites session proposals for workshops, presentations, and forums that address aspects of the digital domain in contemporary teaching, including innovative tools; differentiating and accessibility; gamification; assessment; and the engagement of students through new learning experiences.

We are delighted to announce Jason Lodge, Associate Professor of Education Psychology has agreed to present a keynote address exploring the influence of artificial intelligence or the impact of technology upon teaching and learning.

Read the program for Digital Landscapes. The workshop on 'Exploring video essays as a tool for engaging assessment' has been withdrawn.
