External Assessment Preparation 2023

We will be running the External Examination Preparation as one package with more flexibility for schools using these materials with students. 

The program will consist of three segments:

• Writing the analytical essay:  fully revised materials for teachers available from 22 July
• For students and teachers - four sessions of new videos on Writing the Analytical Essay and pre-recorded text webinars: based on the Prescribed Text List available from Wednesday 26 July
• Live discussions in 30-minute blocks for teachers and students. These Zoom sessions will primarily relate to Writing the Analytical Essay, but students will be free to ask questions about their selected texts. These discussions will not be recorded. These sessions will be on Wednesday 6 at 4, 4:30, and 5pm and Saturday 9 September at 9. 9:30 and 10am. 

Note: An individual student may register and pay independently for the student segment if his/her school is not registering a teacher.

Each Year 12 teacher who is accessing / using the materials in any way should be registered.

Registration is now open and will close on 30 September. Links to recorded material for the teacher segment will be emailed out on the afternoon of Wednesday 19 July to those who are registered by Monday 17 July.

Links to recorded material for the student segment will be emailed on Monday 24 July to those who are registered by that date. Registrants after those dates will receive the links when they register.
