President Lindsay Williams

Lindsay has been an educator in Queensland for 35 years. He has taught English, and has been a Head of English, at both state and independent schools. Lindsay has also served on numerous curriculum committees and panels, and has coordinated and taught teacher preparation courses. Lindsay has recently submitted a PhD thesis focused on the way performers build relationships with their audience. He has produced numerous English resources - including work for AustLit, the Australian Children's Television Foundation, and Reading Australia and is the co-author of the OUP textbook series English for Queensland. He also wrote a chapter for the AATE publication, The Artful English Teacher.
