Esme Robinson

Esme has devoted the last thirty-five years of her life to the promotion and development of subject English in Queensland and has served in most roles available to English educators. She has worked extensively both inside the classroom (as teacher, HOD, seminar/workshop presenter, conference speaker, innovative program developer at the cutting edge of implementation) and outside the classroom as a member of innumerable committees including a decade as president of ETAQ and as consultant on a huge range of projects.

During her career she has inspired and influenced three generations of teachers and students with her great love of language, her enthusiasm and her humanity. Her tireless efforts both inside and outside the classroom demonstrate that she is truly an English educator for all situations.
