Melanie Wild

Melanie Wild is currently an English and Drama teacher and Literacy Coach for Education Queensland and in the past has worked as an Acting Head of English and Principal Project Officer (Literacy) for the Queensland Curriculum and Assesment Authority. She has completed a  Masters of Education (Literacy) at Queensland University of Technology with a focus on using functional grammar to improve students' reading and writing in Secondary English. Melanie is on the Management Committee of The English Teachers Association of Queensland and in 2016 was awarded the Early Career Teaching Award from the Australian Professional Teachers Association.
