AATE Membership
The Australian Association for the Teaching of English (AATE) is the national body that all the state ETAs are affiliated with. It publishes the Australian Journal of English Education three times a year. This is emailed to members on publication. Back copies are housed in the members area of www.etaq.org.au. AATE publishes a number of texts and in partnership with a state ETA runs an annual National Conference
Becoming a member of AATE?
A teacher has 'membership' of AATE through their membership of a state ETA. You do not directly become a member of AATE; however, if you wish to buy books from AATE or register for AATE events you do need to sign into their website and you do this by creating an account. Go to Create Account in the top right hand corner of their website and complete the form.

If your school has a corporate membership record the name of your school as the organisation.
You will use these details whenever you wish to login to the AATE website.
