Indigenous Perspectives in the Junior Curriculum

After a work program review Town High explored ways to better embed indigenous perspectives in the year 7 program through a novella study of Black Cockatoo.  The unit became our first taste of analytical essay writing in year 7, in preparation for subsequent years.  We found greater engagement from students across the board.  We’ll look at our unit of work, as well as other strategies for engaging students from different backgrounds.

This workshop will be presented on Saturday 16 July from 9am till 11am via zoom.

See the flyer  for further information.

For people who wish to purchase a copy of the video after the event, registrations have been re-opened.
