ETAQ will not be conducting its usual state conference in 2013.
This is because, with ALEA Queensland, it is jointly josting the AATE/ALEA National Conference which will be held in Brisbane at the Kelvin Grove campus of QUT over the period 4-7 July. The conference proper begins on the evening of Thursday 4 July and will be preceded by full-day Masterclasses on that day.
The conference theme is: Brave New World: English and literacy teaching for the 21st century.
Full details can be found, and registration effected, at the conference website at http://www.englishliteracyconference.com.au
Earlybird registration closes on 30 April.
