Debbie Peden

Debbie Peden teaches English as a relief teacher at various secondary and primary schools in Brisbane. She has been ETAQ's Literary Competition Coordinator since 2010, and judges the Years 7 & 8 Short Story division of the competition. Debbie is a past recipient of the teacher awards for this literary competition, and was a National Finalist for AATE's 50 word short story competition in 2014.

Beyond English teaching, Debbie's other passions include a role as a creative writer for the RSPCA in Queensland, writing profiles and magazine articles for the RSPCA
