Complimentary meal and a talk by Professor Gretchen Minton who is our Fulbright Scholar. Gretchen is working with TheatreINQ https://www.theatreinq.com/and Dr. Claire Hansen who is the patron of ETAQ . Claire is now in Canberra at ANU. Gretchen Minton is a Shakespeare scholar and Professor of English at Montana State University. She is the editor and author of several works, including the award-winning Shakespeare in Montana, and she works frequently as a dramaturg and script adaptor. Her passion is finding ways to enable classical texts to speak about our current environmental crises. In 2023 Minton is here in Townsville, as a Fulbright Scholar. She is working on an ecologically inflected adaptation of Twelfth Night that is set in North Queensland.
