Working with EALD/Refugee students

The Darling Downs Branch presents Dr Jennifer Alford to conduct a session Working with EALD/Refugee students.  Jennifer will outline some key principles and practices for teachers working with refugee-background young people who have suffered trauma.  The focus will be on how teachers can provide pedagogic experiences that meet the learners' social and emotional needs alongside their English language acquisition needs.
