Early Career Conference

The Early Career Conference will be held at the University of Southern Queensland, Springfield Campus. 

The program is now available here and will be mailed to members later this week. Registrations are now open and will close on Tuesday 23rd October, 2019. You may register online or by completing the registration form and mailing it to trish.purcell@bigpond.com.

Schools may replace any name of their registration form but please let us know so that we can have the correct certificate of participation prepared.

Cancellation Policy - if you find that you are no longer able to come, you may transfer your registration to another person. Ifyou cancel your registraton by Tuesday 22nd October, you will receive a full refund, by Thursday 24th October, a 50% refund. After Thursday, no refund is possible.

When you register, you will see an on-screen confirmation message and get an email message confirming your registration. if this does not happen you should contact the Admin Officer, Trish Purcell, Administration Officer as your registration may not have been received.

Attendees range from pre-service teachers to first year teachers to experienced teachers who are new to teaching English.

One of the aims of the Early Career Conference is to give beginning teachers a voice and an opportunity to expand their professional horizons by presenting at a conference.  Therefore if you are, or know of an early career teacher who would like to gain experience in presenting at conferences and seminars, please contact the convenor at m.blacklock@hotmail.com.
