Beginning Teachers Day

The Beginning Teachers Day this year will be held on Saturday 27 October at University of South Queensland (USQ) Springfield campus, 37 Sinnathamby Blvd, Springfield Central.

Registration will be in the Foyer of A block. .

Dr Stew Riddle has organised with the campus security office for everyone attending on Saturday to be able to park at no expense in the staff/student permit carparks. You do not need to display a permit but do need to park either in the main carpark (next to tennis courts) or the overflow carpark (unsealed one). Parking in any of the other carparks will incur a cost (or a potential fine if they do not pay). A map of the campus is available here.

This day is designed to meet the needs of pre-service teachers, those in their first five years of teaching and more experienced teachers who are new to teaching English.

The Program Outlineis now available; registrations are open, and will close on Monday 22 October.

Cancellation policy Schools may replace any name on their registration,  but please let me know by email the name of the replacement so that I can prepare the correct Certificate of Participation and name tag.

If you cancell by Monday 22 October, you will receive a full refund;  cancel by Wednesday 24, a 50% refund.
