50th Anniversary Social Events

Pre-conference birthday celebration

will be held on Friday 18th August from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Balcony 2, Bernadette Centre  of Lourdes Hill College. Drinks and finger food will be served.

On this occasion, we will honour all those illustrious teachers who have been awarded a Peter Botsman Award.

Later Nick Earls will entertain us with  stories of Writing (from) Queensland - 1980s to now. We will be selling copies of Nick's Wisdom Tree novella series which Nick will autograph.

Cost:  $30

Dress: Smart casual

50th Anniversary Dinner

Will provide us with the opportunity to honour life members, presidents and patrons. Speakers will be Glyn Davies, one of the oldest living members of ETAQ and Frances Whiting, a columnist, journalist and author.

Seating for dinner will be in either a E shape or U shape. Guests will be able to nominate who they would like to sit with.

Cost: $85

Dress Code:  Men - long or short sleeve buttoned shirt with collar, tailored trousers, business shoes.
