Melissa Blacklock

Melissa Blacklock is a second-year English and Biology teacher. Since graduating from QUT in 2015, she has been teaching in the Diverse Learning Department at Centenary State High School. Melissa is passionate about the engagement of young people in education, and completed a thesis into the role of young adult literature in the development of agency in 2015. She has been accepted into a Doctor of Philosophy program at QUT, where she will commence research into classroom engagement in late 2017. 

Melissa has been a member of the ETAQ management committee since 2016.
