Masterclass - Unit 4

Our second Masterclass, and the final in our Vision 2020 series, will provide targeted and specific knowledge for Unit 4 of the new QCE English syllabuses English, Literature, English as an Additional Language, and Essential English. English teachers will work with a variety of experts, academics and peer practitioners. Participants will receive careful explanation of Unit 4 of their selected syllabus and participate in focused workshops for each of the final two assessments. At the end of the Masterclass, participants will be confident in designing and delivering complete unit plans for Year 12, so it's perfect for classroom teachers, teams and leaders.

At the end of this professional development, participants will understand the syllabus requirements for Unit 4 of their selection from the suite of English subjects. They will be confident in designing and delivering learning and assessment for 2020.
 

English and Literature will be offered on Day One; English will be repeated on DayTwo together with EALD and Essential English. Participants may register for one day or both.

Program is now available. Registrations  are open and will close on Friday 12 October unless sold out prior to that date. As the number of places available is limited, preference will be given to members. Cost is $150 for one day and $250 for two days.

You may register online; when you have completed the registration, you will receive an on-screen confirmation and then a confirmation email.

Registrations each day will be in the area outside Lecture Theatre F509, see edited map of the Kelvin Grove campus of QUT. 

Parking is available in car park  F and Sports Lane parking, both of these are accessed from Boundary Street, which runs from Victoria Park Road to Herston Road. Cost is $5 per day on the week-end.
