ETAQ State Conference

Members are reminded that this year’s State Conference, “English and Generation Next”, will be held at Lourdes Hill College at Hawthorne on Saturday 20 August.

Hard copies of the full program, registration form and workshop selection form were included in the most recent mailing due and electronic versions are available on the Events/State Conference Page of the ETAQ website at  http://www.etaq.org.au/?page_id=308 .To avoid a late fee, mailed registrations need to be postmarked no later than this Friday 12 August. We hope to see you there.

Teaching the 11&12 ESL syllabus?

A Brisbane school relatively new to this syllabus is interested in comparing notes re program planning with members who are a tad more experienced. If you’re willing to share some ideas on this topic, please let me know (gazco48@bigpond.net.au) and I’ll put you in touch.

ETAQ E-pistle 21-11 provided details of activities at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus on 26 and 27 August. There’s a public lecture at the Staff Club on the Friday evening and an educational research conference on the Saturday.
